Founded
by the Carthaginians, Carmona ("Kar-Hammon") can be
considered one of the oldest settlements of
Andalusia. Located
on a low hill, Carmona overlooks the fertile plain of
Campiña. 28.300 inhabitants live there just 30 kms/18
miles east of Seville on the main road to Córdoba. |
