This
former capital of mining production has become today a
centre of petro-chemistry and ocean fishing activities.
With 149.000 inhabitants it is one of the smaller Andalusian provincial capitals.
Close to Huelva are large plantations of strawberries and
from the north of the province comes the famous cured
Jabugo ham. |
