Quien no ha visto Sevilla
- no ha visto Maravilla!
(Can
be translated as: "He who has not seen Seville, has missed the
miracle!") |
|
|
|
The Andalusian metropolis is a lively city and an architectonic
jewel. It can be visited all over the year. A must for enthusiasts
of the opera – "Carmen", "Don Juan" and "The Marriage of Figaro"
are set in Seville. Also the heart of Flamenco music.
Alfonso X. (the “Wise”) (1221-1284) created a motto for
Seville on its coat of arms to express his thanks for its loyalty
during his rule.
No madeja do = No me ha dejado
("She/it did not leave me") |
